What is
WW2 Combat Action Shooting™ ?
The short answer is something like this…
Imagine you’re being tossed about in a Higgins Boat
headed for the Normandy Beaches. The tension mounts as
you near the beach, spray stinging your face, and your
knuckles whiten as you tighten the grip on your M1
Garand, the sound of artillery and machine gun fire
growing louder. Just then, the boat lurches to a stop
and the door drops. Move! Move! MOVE!!! Quickly you must
move forward to a firing position. Frantically, you rip
your M1 from the plastic bag, load and engage the
targets. Firing, you hear the familiar “ting” as the
last round is fired and the en-bloc is ejected. Quickly
you grab another em-block and reload, fingers
shaking….(CRAP!) You drop the en-bloc (that’s a 3 second
penalty). Regaining your composure you reload and engage
the rest of the targets. Now you have to clear the
bunker! (Did he say BUNKER?!?!) With your single grenade
can you toss it through that tiny slit?
Can you do it in time? Do you have the skills? I leave
that answer up to you.
The long answer is still just as much fun.
